Tucked away just off Bond Street in London’s Mayfair, the spa is decorated in earthy colours and raw materials to create an immersive sensory experience. For a global outfit, the flagship spa is surprisingly small so book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Elemis is famous for its effective facial treatments. Try the Pro-Intense Lift Effect Facial which claims to tighten loose skin around the neck and jawline in just 50 minutes. Younger city dwellers may prefer the Modern Skin Facial, which rebalances tired, clogged up skin and leaves you with a glowing complexion almost immediately.

For men, there is the personalised Skin IQ Facial, which repairs sensitivity caused by shaving, sun damage and a hectic lifestyle.

Unlike most day spas, Elemis does not feature a pool, sauna or any of the other wet spa features, which have now become the norm. A Rasul steam room is available, but at an extra charge.
