Kenwick Park Spa Deals & Vouchers

Kenwick Park Spa

Enjoy a countryside escape at this hi-tech spa with all the trimmings

Situated within the Kenwick Park Estate, the Evergreen Spa boasts impressive facilities after undergoing an extensive £4.5 million renovation project. The most striking being the main spa pool hall with it’s timber dome roof.

Or let the water really work its magic in the Jacuzzi or outdoor hydrotherapy pool, both with stunning views over the grounds for you to relax while the massage jets work on your tension.

After soaking your troubles away, head over to the thermal spa suite featuring a tepidarium, ice room with fountain, steam room and sauna complete with salt wall. This is not a spa for a quick massage, to really make the most of it you need to immerse yourself in the experience and work your way slowly around the facilities.

A range of food options are available to enjoy during your Kenwick Park spa day, before finishing with a dedicated treatment in one of the 10 treatment rooms. For a romantic break, why not try one of the dual treatment rooms so you can both enjoy the experience together.

The hotel itself has 34 bedrooms, or you can book a stay in one of the lodges within the grounds as part of a spa break. The Kenwick Park spa has so many facilities on offer it’s worth making a weekend of it if you can to really revitalise and refresh before returning to reality.

Golf fans are also well catered for, with the estate boasting a championship standard 18 hole course spanning 190 acres.

  • TREAT YOURSELF: to the Teatox Indulgence, in which over 90 minutes you’ll receive a detoxifying body wrap and seaweed body massage, finished off with a white leaf facial.

  • PERFECT FOR: 21st century romantics who want the best spa facilities but with the nostalgia of a country estate
Carrick Spa Deals

Carrick Spa

Scotland meets modern treatments at this stunning spa

Nestled on the banks of the tranquil Loch Lomond in the heart of rural Scotland, Carrick Spa at Cameron House is a world away from the drudgery of everyday life. Unless, of course your typical daily routine includes a high end spa treatment, a long soak in a thermal pool, an organic meal in a top restaurant and a nip of whisky by the fire.

‘The Bonnie Banks o’ Loch Lomond’ are famed throughout Scotland for their shady glens, still waters, distant hills and wild flora, all of which have been immortalised in a legendary folk song. But you might want to add your own verse after you’ve spent a day or two at Carrick Spa.

As part of the QHotels group, the spa has all the classic treatments you would expect, including exclusive ESPA facials and CARITA body treatments. Body treatments such as the Signature Rainshower Massage, and the Lagoon Hydration, take inspiration from nature, while face treatments such as the Advanced Enzyme Facial and Pro-Lift Booster use up-to-the-minute technology to offer real results.

Most treatments can be customised for men, although the enzyme facial and the deep tissue massages are particularly popular with visiting gentlemen.

This is a small spa which is extremely popular among those in the know, so it is essential to book ahead.

It is also worth pointing out that although the spa is a part of the Cameron House complex, it is actually based 2.5 miles away from the hotel. A concierge service is available to bring guests back and forth whenever they like.

Alternatively, you could ask the hotel’s staff to recommend a walking trail so that you can really make the most of the natural surroundings.

  • TREAT YOURSELF:  to the hour-long Luxury Pedicure (with hot stones). Probably the most relaxing pedicure you’ll ever have – it includes a hot stone leg and foot massage, before your feet are treated to a paraffin wax wrap.

  • PERFECT FOR:  A quiet break with like-minded friends.

If you need a little extra help detoxing, you can choose from a huge number of detoxing and energising massages, body treatments and facials using organic ingredients such as Manuka honey and Barbury Fig oil.

A series of facials, massages and grooming treatments have been specially formulated for men – the SenSpa Active Facial is particularly good for outdoorsy types who are exposed to the elements on a regular basis.

With 19 treatment rooms, two pools, a series of hot and cold rooms and a range of shower experiences, Careys Manor SenSpa is deceptively big and very popular. Booking ahead is vital, and be warned that there is a minimum stay of two nights if you arrive on a Saturday.

Ragdale Hall Spa deals

Ragdale Hall Spa

English history meets modern luxury at Ragdale Hall Spa

You may have already tried out the Ragdale Hall Spa experience in the comfort of your own home – it has its own range of spa products with Marks & Spencer.

This is one of the most established names in Britain’s spa scene. Set inside a stately home that is hundreds of years old, it has been used as a hydro spa since 1973.

Water treatments are still central to the spa’s philosophy – an ancient stream runs through the spa area, and there are multiple pools: an extra-warm candlelit pool for bathing; a 25m heated swimming pool; an exercise pool for aqua aerobics; and an indoor and outdoor waterfall pool for relaxing.

Try something new from the spa’s extensive menu – the innovative Shell Shocked Massage uses lava shells to work on your back and abdominal muscles, while the Crystal Massage combines traditional massage techniques with crystal healing.

You can also stick with the classics – Ragdale Hall Spa offers a range of effective Decleor facials and Clarins treatments, as well as beauty add-ons such as Shellac manicures and pedicures.

Men can choose from a similarly long list of facials, massages and grooming treatments, including the acclaimed Decleor Men’s Age Defying Facial.

The spa is constantly updating its facilities, most recently adding a Beauty Express stop and a Hair Studio in 2013. Whatever it is doing, it seems to be working – over 40 years after it welcomed its first spa guest, Ragdale Hall is still winning awards and accolades across the board.

  • TREAT YOURSELF:  to the Decleor Ultimate Detox Face and Body Treatment – a 135-minute massage using natural clays, muds and minerals for a deep cleanse all over.

  • PERFECT FOR:  Water lovers and couples seeking a peaceful retreat.
