This enormous manor house is surrounded by 150 acres of parkland, and boasts its own football pitch, par 71 golf course, and brand new two-storey fitness centre.

Yet despite its scale, Dunston Hall Spa (near Norwich) still manages to feel incredibly private and secluded.

Much of this is down to the modern spa facilities, which were given a £500,000 makeover in 2016. The new and improved Dunston Hall Health Club features all the mod cons (a sauna, a steam room, a hydrotherapy pool), as well as a series of private treatment rooms and a fully-equipped beauty salon.
